Description

The production of Moscatel, as a fortified wine, is similar to that of Port wines, resulting in sweet wines whose alcoholic fermentation is halted by the addition of grape spirit. After a predetermined period of phenolic maceration, the Moscatel wine is placed in barrels for ageing and refinement of its rich, aromatic profile. These wines are made from various Moscatel grape varieties, internationally renowned for their aromatic richness and natural sugar concentration. The bottling year may not match the image shown.
