The production of Moscatel, as a liqueur wine, is similar to the production of Port wines, resulting in sweet wines where alcoholic fermentation is stopped by adding grape spirit. After a set period of pellicular maceration, the moscatel wine is put in barrels to age and refine its profile, rich and aromatic. These wines are made from the various Moscatel grape varieties, internationally known for their aromatic richness and natural sugar concentration. The bottling year may not match the image shown.
