Capicua Colheita Tardia is made exclusively from Moscatel Graúdo grapes. The harvest was taken several weeks after the ideal date, which caused the berries to dehydrate, increasing sugar concentration and allowing the development of noble rot from Botrytis cinerea, adding flavor and distinction to the wine. It presents a golden color with an intense aroma. On the palate it is slightly sweet, elegant, and has a delicate structure. Quinta do Cerrado da Porta was acquired by its current owners in 1996. The property, which originally covered about 3 hectares and was in very poor condition, is now the family house and a viticultural operation covering 17 hectares, of which 14 hectares are planted with vines.
