This Borba Reserva, from the Borba Cooperative, is a rather spirited venture – a bold move using Arinto, Verdelho, and Alvarinho to really raise the bar for the region. Harvested in the cool morning hours, it’s a beautifully balanced wine with a firm structure. Expect ripe tropical fruit and a touch of vanilla from barrel aging, alongside hints of honey and spice, finishing long and luxuriously. Seriously delicious with grilled fish or a seafood paella, wouldn’t you agree?
