This Bical from Adega de Penalva certainly has a touch of intrigue – a mellow flavour that’s backed by an aroma hinting at delightful surprises. Crafted with complete crushing and fermentation in used 600L oak barrels, it delivers a level of complexity that makes it a genuinely captivating wine. A shame it doesn’t fully reveal all its secrets, but it’s absolutely perfect with grilled white fish, elevating the entire dining experience.
