Description

This Alentejo Syrah presents a rather ominous violet hue, hinting at the dominant dark fruits – almost *too* much blackberry and elderberry. The tannins are incredibly smooth, whispering of volume on the palate with an understated elegance, a clear reflection of the warm Alentejo terroir. A long, persistent finish would pair wonderfully with a good grilled steak, or perhaps even a hearty dish of roasted meat with spices.
