This Alabastro Reserva from the Alentejo is a real adventure – the Aragonez delivers the expected structure, but with a generous dose of red fruit, clearly warmed by the Alentejo sun. The Trincadeira adds a beautiful layer of aromatic complexity, hinting at a thoughtful maturation, perhaps even some time spent amongst the peaks of Serra de São Mamede. As you might expect, judging by that gold medal, it’s a wine that leaves no one unmoved. Wonderful with a slow-cooked pork dish, I’d say.
