The Herdade das Aldeias de Juromenha winery is situated 15 km from the town of Elvas, right in the heart of Alentejo. Founded in 1998 in an area steeped in winemaking tradition, the first vines were planted with Trincadeira, Aragonês, Antão Vaz, Alicante, Verdelho, and later Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Today the estate covers 70 hectares of vineyards, allowing an expanded portfolio and new offerings for the market. (illustrative image only)
