This Aliás, born from the ancient vines of Bairrada, is a truly delightful puzzle. The clay-rich soil of Cadoiços lends it a striking minerality, translating to bursts of fresh strawberry on the palate – a beautiful contradiction that makes it utterly addictive. The tannins are as smooth as silk, perfectly complementing the vegetal notes and leaving a long, lingering finish that practically clings to the tongue. We think this wine, thanks to its refreshing style and extended bottle aging, would pair wonderfully with duck or other game birds.
