This remarkable blend from Andreza, crafted by Francisco Baptista, truly sings of the Douro’s character. A harmonious mix of Sousão, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Touriga Franca, coaxed from vineyards stretching across the region’s three sub-zones, it’s a field blend brimming with potential. The slow maceration at 34°C expertly highlights the enzymatic work, while carefully selected yeasts ensure a wonderfully complex fermentation. Having already garnered 93 points from the public, 91 from Robert Parker and 17 from *Vinho Grandes Escolhas*, this wine is a clear demonstration of its exceptional quality – perfect alongside a hearty roast or a selection of aged cheeses.
