This Aneto, hailing straight from the Vale do Tua, certainly delivers an intense experience – and I confess, a touch of audacity. Crafted using open-vat fermentation and aged in both new and used oak barrels, it’s a wine brimming with the complexity we adore. The Pinot Noir vines, planted at over 500 metres, alongside the traditional varietals, give it a truly distinctive character and surprising freshness. Awarded 16 points by Revista de Vinhos, this deeply coloured red boasts aromas of black fruit, cocoa, and mineral notes – a perfect match for a hearty roast or perhaps a slow-cooked lamb. A confident choice, without a shadow of a doubt!
