This Artadi Vina Del Pison seems to have been put through the wringer – extended cold maceration and a frankly obsessive focus on terroir. The resulting Aragonese grape is clearly still confiding in the oak, thanks to the open-vessel fermentation. Perhaps the winemaker had a slightly off day? A fantastic match for winter kitchens and hearty slow-cooked beef.
