This Servas de Bacchus from the Clérigo vineyard is a delightful reminder that patience and tradition truly pay off. The complex aromas – think fresh herbs and a hint of spice – indicate a carefully nurtured maturation. With silky tannins and a lingering finish, it’s no surprise this wine took Top Excellence at the Best of the Year 2023 awards. A seriously rewarding bottle, best enjoyed with a good grilled steak, I’d suggest.
