This Beyra, hailing from the Beira Interior, is a little journey through the region’s vineyards – a delightful one, at that. Made primarily with Aragonez and Síria, it bursts with notes of red berries and a subtle spice warmth. The vibrant acidity and medium body certainly deserve the award it received from Guia Vinho de Portugal. I’d recommend pairing it with a perfectly grilled beef steak or some nicely sautéed mushrooms – a classic combination, really.
