The second wine from Château l’Evangile shares many of the hallmark traits of the house’s flagship, yet it is aged in barrels for a shorter period—partly in cement—to preserve its youthfulness and make it drinkable earlier. Early tastings of the 2023 vintage revealed aromas of dark chocolate and blackcurrant, unfolding on the palate into a pleasant minerality and a smooth, enveloping mouthfeel, culminating in a spicy finish. Delivery of this wine is expected between September 2025 and March 2026.
