Bodegas Mauro was founded in 1980 by Mariano García as a tribute to his father. The wines produced by Bodegas Mauro are known for being balanced, elegant, and sensual, with great aging potential. They are also celebrated for expressing the characteristics of the grape varieties used and the terroir in which they are grown, reflecting the winemaker’s vision. Bodegas Mauro was the first winery of the García family in the Duero Valley, followed by San Román Bodegas y Viñedos in 1997 in the Toro Denomination of Origin, and completed with Garmón Continental, an exclusive project in Ribera del Duero launched in 2014.
