This deep red from Bodegas Mauro Garmon is a wonderfully reassuring wine, crafted entirely from Tempranillo grapes grown on vines aged between 30 and 100 years. The extended 16 months spent in French oak barrels have undoubtedly added a layer of complexity, much like a fine whisky. It’s a brilliant match for a hearty, grilled beef dish – a truly satisfying combination.
