Bodegas Mauro was founded in 1980 by Mariano García as a way to honour his father. The wines produced by Bodegas Mauro are characterised by being balanced, elegant, and sensual, with a great capacity for ageing. They are also known for expressing the characteristics of the grapes used and the terroir in which they are grown, mirroring the winemaker’s vision. Bodegas Mauro was the first winery of the García family in the Valle del Duero, followed by San Román Bodegas y Viñedos in 1997 in the Toro Denomination of Origin, and completed with Garmón Continental, an exclusive project in Ribera del Duero that began in 2014. The three estates embrace a viticultural style based on respect for the unique qualities of each territory, forming a distinctive winemaking philosophy. (Illustrative image only)
