Bodegas Mauro was founded in 1980 by Mariano García as a way to honor his father. The wines produced by Bodegas Mauro are characterized by being balanced, elegant and sensual, with a strong ability to age. They are also known for expressing the characteristics of the grape varieties used and the terroir in which they are grown, reflecting the winemaker’s vision. Bodegas Mauro was the first winery of the García family in the Valle del Duero, followed by San Román Bodegas y Viñedos in 1997, in the Denominación de Origen Toro, and completed by Garmón Continental, an exclusive project in Ribera del Duero launched in 2014.
