Bojador is a personal project of producer Pedro Ribeiro (Herdade do Rocim) that turns his long‑standing dream of translating his connection to Alentejo into wine into reality. The venture began in 2010 in Vidigueira, a place he describes as “unique, with a millennial tradition of dedication to vines and wine.” At Bojador, Pedro Ribeiro selects the old‑vine blocks that best express the terroir where the wines are born, resulting in “mineral, fresh, elegant, emotive and authentic” wines. The red varieties include Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Grossa and Moreto, while the whites are Antão Vaz, Arinto, Alvarinho, Perrum, Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha and Manteúdo.
