Borges Quinta de São Simão da Aguieira is a red wine crafted from Jaen, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz grapes. It displays a deep, crystal‑clear ruby hue. The aroma is intense and fresh, with striking notes of orange blossom and bergamot citrus, interspersed with hints of vanilla, spices and caramel. On the palate it is soft, velvety and full‑bodied, with gentle tannins that give structure, leading to a long, vibrant finish underscored by good acidity. Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, the Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges soon became one of Portugal’s leading wine companies. Recognizing that only through excellence can Portuguese wines establish themselves worldwide, Borges has always invested in the quality of its production, now exported to more than fifty countries across five continents.
