Casa Américo The Casa Américo Reserva Tinto 2018 is crafted from meticulously selected grapes of the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Alfrocheiro varieties, harvested from vineyards planted on granite soils at elevations between 400 and 600 m, with the influence of a nearby 2000 m mountain. These vineyards are located in the Serra da Estrela sub‑region. The 2018 Reserva Tinto matured for 12 months in French oak barrels. Winemaker: Pedro Pereira. “With a touch of Alfrocheiro in the batch, this wine is rich and spicy, with a well‑structured backbone. The one‑year oak maturation gives it polish and density.
