The Bosque de Matasnos gets its name because, in the 1960s, many donkeys died here hauling timber from the region’s deforested trees under extreme heat. The vineyards supplying the varieties for the Bosque de Matasnos Limited Edition sit at almost 1,000 metres above sea level. This wine spent 12 months in oak barrels and a lengthy period in bottle to bring out all its virtues. It is sold only in high‑quality vintages.
