This “Bread & Cheese” from the Tejo region certainly had ambition – a carefully selected harvest of grapes including Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Castelão, with a 30% oak influence which, frankly, has given it a slightly more substantial backbone. The stainless steel fermentation seems to have been diligently monitored, and the three-month bottle aging promises to soften the experience. A wine perfectly suited to a good aged cheese and artisan bread – for a truly complete pairing, of course.
