The bottles of older wines may show dust traces and damaged labels, which is to be expected given their age. The National Wine Cellar is required to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that normally reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed.
