This Cartuxa offers a wonderfully serious reflection of the Alentejo – a truly dependable choice for those who appreciate the region’s weight. Crafted from a beautifully balanced blend of Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, and Trincadeira sourced from the oldest vines of the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, it boasts a lengthy maceration, resulting in a firm structure and incredibly well-integrated tannins. Twelve months in French oak add subtle spice notes and a touch of tobacco, while the signature granulose colour of the Alentejo shines through. A wine built for longevity, perfect with grilled red meats or a hearty slow-cooked dish.
