Casa Balaguer Salicornio Branco

Description

The name of this wine derives from a shrub that grows in brackish environments. More precisely, it hails from the La Mata Natural Park, where the vineyards sit just 50 metres from the sea, giving the wine an unmistakable saline character. It ferments with its skins, and midway through the process it is pressed, leaving it skin‑less until dry. It spends time in concrete tanks and offers citrus notes, hints of white flowers, jasmine and a touch of luck, among other aromas.
