Wine of a bright appearance, with a subtle aroma of orange blossom and melon. On the palate it is concentrated and mineral, with a refreshing acidity that complements generous notes of ripe citrus. At an altitude of 640 meters, within the “International Douro Park,” the Colinas do Douro project was born. It sits at the abrupt transition between the granites of the Beira highlands and the first folds of schist toward the Douro River, amid steep slopes and cliffs. The estate covers 450 hectares, of which 106 hectares are vineyards. With the vision of creating wines that convey “UM Douro SUPERIOR,” this project develops in an intense and authentic way, sun by sun, harvest after harvest. Respecting and enhancing the region’s rich biodiversity, the mission is for its wines to express, in their elegance, freshness, and mineral character, a “UM Douro SUPERIOR” that the owners consider to be their terroir.
