Casa de Mouraz: a batch comprising many grape varieties sourced from several vineyard plots with differing ages, altitudes and exposures. It offers aromas of forest and caruma—a true Dão blend. The vines are spread across multiple granite‑soil plots ranging from 10 to 40 years old. Harvest is manual at the end of September. Vinification involves natural fermentation in temperature‑controlled stainless‑steel tanks, followed by a long maceration. A portion of the wine is then aged in French oak barrels for eight months.
