At Casa de Mouraz, all vineyards are cultivated organically, without herbicides or synthetic agrochemicals, and have been certified by ECOCERT since 1996. The soil is fertilised with plant seedlings and organic composts. Vineyard treatments use natural products such as copper, sulphur, seaweed, clay and plant infusions. Biological agriculture at Casa de Mouraz is guided by respect for the soil, the plants, humanity and life in its diversity and ecological integrity. Less intervention lets the soil produce a more authentic wine that faithfully reflects the terroir and the vineyard where it was grown. Since the end of 2006, Casa de Mouraz has also adopted biodynamic practices, seeking to deepen the harmony between soil, plants, animals and humans. (image purely illustrative)
