Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the aim of continuing the story of five generations and their deep passion for Alentejo and its authentic landscape. Over the years the family grew alongside the business, and today it spans roughly 750 ha of montado forest, 225 ha of olive grove, and 350 ha of vineyard, all managed under integrated production. With its three estates – Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede – Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles a year, 70 % of which are destined for the external market, reaching more than 30 countries worldwide and offering the best of Alentejo.
