The Relvas House is a family project that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. Its goal is to continue the story of five generations, all driven by a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic landscape. Over the years the family has grown alongside the business, and today the estate covers roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive grove, and 350 hectares of vineyard, all managed through 100 % integrated production. With its three properties—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—the Relvas House can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 % of which are exported to satisfy global demand.
