This Vinhas Velhas from Casa Altas clearly had a good chat with the French oak – it’s wonderfully integrated, isn't it? Hand-harvested with meticulous care, showcasing the producer’s respect for each grape, and a lengthy fermentation (two weeks!) undoubtedly contribute to its silky texture. It’s a wine that practically begs for a hearty beef roast with a rich red wine reduction sauce, wouldn’t you agree?
