The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal given their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, but it also chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with age. We select brands and regions that, in general, exhibit distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we want to emphasize that wine is a living organism, and even while sealed, its aromas evolve over time. Consequently, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, which helps release its natural aromas after many years of being closed.
