The bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that reflects the wine’s age. We select brands and regions that, by default, exhibit distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we want to make it clear that wine is a living organism that ages over time, and even when sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve in different ways. Accordingly, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, as this helps release its natural aromas after many years of closure.
