This 2017 Château Clerc Milon is a seriously concentrated wine, clearly fuelled by a deep connection with the sun. The extended drought – from spring to autumn – has resulted in intensely coloured grapes, yielding a remarkably full-bodied wine with a robust tannic structure reflecting the vine’s resilience. Predominantly Merlot, the Petit Verdot and Carmenere contribute a welcome freshness, and the limited production promises a truly memorable tasting experience – particularly well suited to grilled beef and a sharp cheddar.
