An elegant, delicate and charming wine, sourced from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes planted on the gravel soils of La Grave. It presents itself balanced and linear, combined with ripe red fruit and silky texture—qualities that make the wine accessible and enjoyable even in its youth. Château La Grave is a beautiful 19th‑century estate located on the western side of the Pomerol plateau, once owned by the Trigant de Boisset family. As its name suggests, the terroir is almost pure gravel, marking the start of a mile‑long gravel band that continues into Saint‑Émilion. Acquired by Christian Moueix in 1971, the estate underwent a renewal of vineyard, castle and cellar to restore its place among the best wines of Pomerol. (illustrative image only)
