In a sector dominated by players rooted for centuries, Churchill’s, with only 36 years of existence, distinguished itself by exclusively producing premium wines with a very distinctive identity. This identity, an individual and unique style, was what John Graham sought to bring to the world of Port wine when he founded the company in 1981. The acquisition of Quinta da Gricha in 1999 propelled Churchill’s into Douro wine production, establishing it as a particular success.
