This wine, aptly named “The Vesuvian Volcano,” delivers a truly evocative experience – you can almost feel the sea breeze rising from the slopes. It’s a beautiful marriage of Tinta Barroca’s generous fruit with the refined elegance of Touriga Nacional. The vibrant acidity, characteristic of the vintage, plays beautifully with notes of red berries, and surprisingly, a hint of fennel, a subtle nod to the unique terroir of the Vesuvian region. Absolutely delicious with a succulent pork dish, or paired with lighter fare like fresh cheeses and olives.
