Conde De Vimioso Espumante

Description

This sparkling wine from Conde de Vimioso clearly had a little Mediterranean adventure before arriving in our glasses. You get youthful white stone fruit notes, reminiscent of a tiny peach, alongside honey sweetness and a hint of toasted bread – likely thanks to some time aging in oak lagars. The Chardonnay adds a touch of elegance, as the producer so values, and the persistent bubbles suggest a wine that makes you question whether it’s already finished or still unfolding. Delicious with fresh oysters, naturally.
