This Conde Vimioso Reserva Branco certainly carries a touch of pedigree. Grown on those distinctive gravelly soils – a classic Arinto expression – it’s a wine that demands a little attention. The hand-harvested grapes undergo careful cold-settling, followed by a macération that beautifully concentrates their character. Maturation in French oak, combined with extended lees contact, delivers a remarkable mineral complexity and refreshing acidity, finishing with a truly elegant note. I’d recommend pairing it with some perfectly grilled white fish, perhaps sea bass?
