This Croft Tawny Reserva, lauded with 90 points by Wine Spectator, clearly spent a very indulgent life aging in oak. The nose immediately bursts with a lavish display of red berries – think plump sultanas alongside a delicate hint of clove. On the palate, it’s a supremely decadent experience, with cardamom and warming spices weaving beautifully with the elegance of black cherry, finishing with a vibrant strawberry preserve note, certainly worthy of a top chef’s pairing.
