This was the first wine produced by the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, originally named after its initials, but a spelling mistake between “U” and “V” gave rise to the iconic brand Cune. The white wine has been made since the 19th century. An elegant, refined single‑varietal Viura, sourced from a select group of vineyards in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, it stands out for its aromatic freshness and a balanced palate, thanks to its acidity.
