This Curral Teles Epsilon, already boasting those impressive 94 points, unfolds with a colour that’s more subtle than showy – hinting at a truly complex wine. The nose is powerfully scented, with ripe cherry mingling beautifully with notes of leather, underpinned by a whisper of cinnamon and anise. On the palate, it’s remarkably smooth, perfectly balanced by the tannins characteristic of the Tinto Cão, and possessing the ageing potential to pair wonderfully with black pork.
