Description

This red wine is a field blend of Alicante Bouschet and Syrah, aged without oak barrels, and it displays a cherry‑red colour with brilliant, deep intensity and a medium‑sized run of “teinturier.” Its aroma is very pronounced, featuring notes of red fruit, mint, spices, and also smoky and caramelised undertones. On the palate it is dry, with balanced acidity, a medium body, and well‑balanced tannins, finishing long and delicate. Devaneio Wines is located in Alenquer, in the Lisbon region, where vines perched at the foot of the Montejunto mountain range and the influence of Atlantic freshness create a unique terroir that, combined with minimal vinification, gives rise to wines with character.
