Wine produced exclusively from the Chardonnay grape. The grapes come from a terroir dominated by marl and clay, giving the wine a red‑wine character. The story of Maison Louis Jadot began in 1826 with the acquisition of the first vineyard plot in Burgundy. Over three decades of dedication and sacrifice, Louis‑Henri‑Denis Jadot built the estate, developing a business focused on selling its wines in Northern European markets. Generations later, in 1992 Pierre‑Henry Gagey took the helm with his sizable team, and in 2014 his son Thibault continued the tradition. Now working together to manage the property and live Louis Jadot’s dream, the challenge is to keep offering accessible, high‑quality Burgundy wines to the market. (Illustrative image only)
