Dona Matilde is made from old vines of local grape varieties, mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Amarela. The wine has a ruby hue and a complex aroma that begins with notes of cherry and strawberry, followed by mint, fig and spices. On the palate it is soft and smooth yet full‑bodied and structured. Strawberry flavours linger throughout the taste, and the finish is long and lingering.
