This “Encontro” from Bairrada is a seriously impressive sight – a deep ruby colour that demands attention. The nose is immediately rich, with dominant blackcurrant and raspberry notes, subtly laced with warming spices. It’s remarkably smooth and well-balanced, and the longevity – a testament to the blend of Merlot, Baga and Touriga Nacional – is truly rewarding. Definitely one to pair with a good grilled beef dish.
