This wine is made from Maria Gomes and Arinto grapes, harvested on slopes facing the Castelo de Penela. After a traditional transformation process with minimal human intervention, the white wine presents a yellow colour, a mineral profile, and highlights citrus and floral aromas. On the palate it offers a more pronounced, fresh taste with grapefruit notes. In the Encosta da Criveira, exposed to the southwest and overlooking the stunning view of Castelo de Penela, wines are produced by the skill and artistry of the people of Terras de Sicó, where tradition meets new enological techniques without neglecting the rich history that surrounds them. Here, the wines originate from the Beira Altlântico region, where the soils are predominantly clay and clay‑calcareous, giving the raw material an incredible freshness.
