This wine is made from the Aragonês grape, harvested on slopes that face the Castle of Penela. After a traditional vinification process, it emerges rich in color, with a mature profile, highlighting fruity, chocolatey and smoky aromas. On the palate it is intense, complex and challenging. On the Criveira slope, exposed to the southwest and offering a breathtaking view of the Castle of Penela, wines are produced – the result of the ingenuity and artistry of the people of Terras de Sicó – blending tradition with modern enological techniques while honoring the rich history that surrounds them. These wines come from the Beira Altlântico region, where the soils are predominantly clay and clay‑limestone, imparting an incredible freshness to the raw material. (illustrative image only)
