Encosta do Sobral Reserva Rosé is made from Trincadeira Preta and Touriga Nacional grapes. It shows a very pale pink hue, with great aromatic complexity that highlights red‑fruit notes balanced by subtle toasty nuances. On the palate it is layered and complex, with a solid structure marked by various nuances and a long, persistent finish. Encosta do Sobral is a property in the Tomar sub‑region, situated at the northernmost vineyards of the Tagus and distinguished by its slate soils. With 70 hectares of vines, it enjoys a privileged geographic location and unique landscape. Santos & Seixo is a family business founded by Alzira dos Santos and Pedro Seixo, who dreamed of reviving their family histories and dedicating themselves entirely to wine. The dream became reality when they first harvested in the country’s most emblematic regions, the Douro and Alentejo, in 2010. The project has since grown, and today the family owns vineyards and produces wines in the Douro, Alentejo and Vinho Verde regions, combining modern and traditional methods from careful grape selection to production and oak‑barrel ageing, all aimed at preserving the grape’s authenticity to the maximum.
